Pride With Honor Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Pride With Honor

Pride and honor

Amidst ruins
Only palace stands
Reminds of so much bloodshed
And burial of dead

How much have we suffered?
Yet not uttered
A word to that effect
Or put into act

We wanted to cry
But did not try
As it was simple fact
We shall have to face and bravely act

No one comes to rescue
Unless helped by few
Who have little regard for humanity?
And fear from an almighty

Only such people may come forward
With simple word
And in return
For no expectation

Number is exactly not known
But we can own
Pride and honor
That there are people who go for

Pride With Honor
