Prisoner Of An Open Cell Poem by Drk Poet

Prisoner Of An Open Cell

Rating: 5.0

Words never said
died within, avalanche
tears of waited years

am a chronicled battleground
of self demented heart sores
and intuitive mind could not
render words of truth to the
heart in pain

am a prisoner of an open cell
love caged my heart to an open
air, am lost to the sea of forgotten
dreams, a platform to life&death
seems deluded from my escaping
tears and broken self esteem

I was mutilated, toss to the bin
annihilated, many rivers flow out
burnt suffocated, my fear a worse
partner stayed back cold uncoordinated

am prisoner in an open cell
the world an open book
my thoughts a forgotten roots
in its long listed page lines

Love just dug another hole
in the air as my breath sunk
to its demise, never will i make
a left turn into your heart ever

cause have seen what
it means to hurt you
the way I did

I do Love you dearly
please forgive Me

A tale of distress in bliss of love well depicted in the poem. A well articulated piece of poetry, nicely encapsulated and beautifully penned in poetic diction from the heart. A lovely poem indeed. Thanks for sharing and do keep it up. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
