Privileged Society Poem by Bob Bradley

Privileged Society

Above all of the status
and riches designed by man
give to me the power
of waves crashing on the sand
the prestige
of standing with mighty redwoods
the majesty
of the high Sierra
the poise
of a Japanese maple
the adulation
of screaming seagulls
the grace
of a monarch butterfly
the luxury
of a Summer's breeze
the lofty office
of a hawk soaring
high above the trees

Excellent poem. Man made power is nothing compare to what nature offers us. Beautiful expressions.
