Procrastination Poem by Jillian Keenan

Procrastination

Rating: 4.5

A longing for serenity
And a need for the ability
To let go of the past
And see what possibilities
The future has to offer
The opportunities before her
Have been knocking for a while
I don’t know what she’s waiting for
It’s as if she had a reason
But I can’t think of one
One time she used to lead them
Now she only runs
What happened to her capacity
For never ending tenacity
What happened to her dignity
What has become of me?
