Progression Clock Poem by Michael Walkerjohn

Progression Clock

Life, slips beneath the pains,
of flesh exposed to light;
consciousness, numinous gift,
within one mind it alters;
interposing life or death,
as each soul does time elate;
connexion oft thought,
seeks implement into all laity.

Adeption, time's countenance,
soft buss upon each face;
perceptually, life views preview,
one's stationed office;
apportioned anamnesis cloned,
secrecy all eyes foresee;
ministration, any regularity,
maddening Arouet's furore.

Empowerment proves eye precind,
prelacy Nemesis de novo;
somatic scent, what flesh
surrounds living's demeanour;
curiosity strains thought,
as time flies pure dianoetic;
arborised tendrils reach,
the chouse granitic meronym.

Progression keynote accolade,
mind jestings autotelism;
jaundiced steward chide,
ensued bathos prove humanity's;
eviscerate minds from time,
present viewed duplicitous;
euphoriant timing movements mock,
tomorrow's mausoleum.

Attainment, time's luscious hue,
tainted by life shudders;
granting gift consciousness,
upon too few its showered;
sentient beings, then relieve
life of substance shadowy;
enlightenment as clock chimes,
reality in gist charade.
