If we never can say goodbye

Despite the fact that our love might be over
I don't mind if you've moved on to another
But, please, forget me not
And all the laughs we've shared
The comfort we gave each other
The depth of understanding only we could fathom
The hopes and dreams we shared for the future
The satisfaction you gave me and the profound joy I gave you
The late night conversations
And each time we didn't want to let go
The joy of always seeing each other again
And the pains of never knowing
If we ever would again
Although I will cry if our love will never be
My heart will, even worse, die
If, indeed, you forget me
