you said you’d stay forever
said you’d never leave me never
only forever lasted a day and a half
so forgive me of this evil wrath

you said you’d always be there
only you never gave a care
said you would always love me
why and how didn’t i see

you said you’d always share my pain
only you gave me tears falling like rain
said you would protect me from loneliness
so what meaning came from that first kiss

you said you’d never break my heart
so why break it and tear it apart
said you would never cause me to cry
when did everything turn into this horrible lie
