Promises Poem by Paul Walsh

All the promises I made were true
All the feelings I have are real
the moment we met the very first kiss
You fill my heart and my head to hear one more word from those lips

I know were apart why i still dont know,
I would give you my everything all you have to do is say so,
You were came into my life sent straight from above
Filling me with happiness and joy cause of you i found real love.

I do know its not right cause of the things i have done,
But one day when possible we can make it somehow
Ill wait by the phone for your call or your text
Some glimmer some sign its what will keep me going i dont care about time.

I speak with my heart to often bypassing my mind
I do know i should of listened instead of acting on my own stupid whims
I can do what you ask and trust me I will
In the hope that one day we will laugh Im sure we both will
It might not be now what will be will be.
Dont ever forget how beautiful and amazing you are to me.
Cause the fact I love you now and always will.
