Prosecution Poem by Scarred Unknown

Prosecution

Rating: 5.0

Sick and tired
Of being prosecuted
Because of who I am
Moments pass and I am lost
Without a grain of sand

I share a small window
Of who I might become
And then am cast aside
As if I am nothing but gum

Judgmental people
Don’t wait to see the true me
Just go on what they think they see
Never knowing what could be

Daily I pass by
A crowd of people
Only to hear
The careless whispers
To throw me to the sides

Another morning I wake up
Another day I hear them
Another day I realize
I am everything without them
