Protect The Wolves Poem by Dr. Harry Hamburger

Wolf broke into chicken coop
and promptly ate his fill
the other wolves were nervous
chickens would bear ill will

Each wolf given a bird
to walk down the street
to protect from any harm
and show solidarity was complete

For it was common knowledge
all could live in peace
just needed a pluralistic society
for all hostility to cease

What did the wolves eat
no one wanted to know
chickens held out their wings
hoping there friendship would grow
