Prove You Wrong

I walk among the rocks
Sharp and jagged
They cut your feet
If you’re not careful
But I like the danger
And you can’t stop me
I know my way
You don’t have to try and protect me

I am so tired of being treated
As if I am incapable of doing anything
So I am going to prove you wrong

I wade through the brook
The current swift and strong
It sweeps you away
If you’re not careful
But I like the danger
And you can’t stop me
I won’t fall
You would trust that if you knew me

No matter what you say
I’m not about to listen
So I am going to prove you wrong
