Psalm 23 Poem by Frank McEleny

Psalm 23

The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want
And my soul lies down in peace
And even though I walk through the valley of death
I shall not hunger, in fact I will feast

Despite my enemies which are all around
I shall sit at my Master's feet
And goodness and mercy shall follow me
And the shadow of death will retreat

You anoint my head with Holy oil
And comfort with staff and rod
You lead me in the path of righteousness
And forever I shall dwell with my God
