Psalms For The Dead Poem by William Jackson

Psalms For The Dead

White blossoms
a war with no end in sight

the dead wrapped in flags
life drained out of life

death consumes but gives nothing
psalms for the dead

Twenty-eight words, and you have flecked a picture, artistically and poetically grandeur...Not an easy feat, yet I can seee the those tin coffins wrapped in red, white and blue....so many....with no end in sight...possibly more upon Israels inevitable pre-emptive strike on Iran....and once again We, the Global Police will be sending more of our youn men and women home in those insideous boxes....Superb penning, Bill...Hope all is well in your world, ole' friend! ~Frank/FjR~
