Pseudonym Poem by Pete Rivera

Pseudonym

In my mind and in my sight
Are these thoughts with which I will take plight
More than enough to make you mine
I'm confident it will work out fine
Now here I am and here I shall stay
Life or death won't steal me away
Or a dream that places me in the fray
Verily, verily, my heart will sway
Everyone, and all will see
Why and how you mean so much to me
In my thoughts you fill you give me glee
That it's your beauty that sets me free
How can I describe it better so?
You know it is true that I love you so
Oh, do not deny that my heart has grown
Unlike the birds who have never flown
