Pulled From

Rating: 5.0

I was pulled from deep sleep
Made to stand on feet and instructed not to weep
Father was laid on the ground with dead silence
The family was in deep shock with his absence

I was in my teens and very dear to him
He will make me to run and take to swim
We may float on water for number of hours
We were commented upon many times by the goers

I had known little about the outside world
I always remained under his influence and fold
He may endlessly talk on various subjects
As if he was known as brave man for his acts

It puzzled me for the all of sudden development
Her body lay there without any movement
At was put straight on the ground
And no active movement was found

I was yet to learn about his demise
Day before he ad made a great promises
He was to take me for long tour
Even though he looked ordinary and poor

I was him fully tired and speechless
He was there but not looking at my face
I tried to call him with tearful voice
It died out in air amidst much noise

“Take care, be bold and brave”
These words echoed in ears as if he just now gave
“No one can stay here for so long”
He used to teach us when stayed among

In a family one old man is must
We can take his words for sure trust
He may enrich us with his long association
He may stop us from any wrong move or deviation

I may miss his company for days to come
I might even be thrashed and never be welcomed
All family members may want me to be disciplined
No one may come to rescue or aid if someone complained
