Puppeteers Poem by Susan from Baltimore

Puppeteers

The puppet show
A boy and girl
They jump and dance
They spin and twirl

Heads with two faces
Smiles or tears
The strings dictate
Which does appear

A tangled web
Puts thing asunder
A crashing sound
Repeating thunder

Limbs and bodies
Flail and cling
Unseen hands
Command the string

Whose handiwork
Controls the lovers
Someone… no one
Each the others
