Pure and Clean

Blow of the wind
Breath in the lung
Lets life grind
Days and on we hang.

Flow of water
Quenches inner thirst
Filling life's crater
We move on with a thrust.

Mountain of rock
Provides the hidden power
Tough we'll not crack
Life'll grow like a tower.

Life's peace's the forest
Let it remain evergreen
Life'll need some rest
To stay pure and clean.

poet Edgar Allan Poe

Kind solace in a dying hour!
Such, father, is not (now) my theme-
I will not madly deem that power
Of Earth may shrive me of the sin
