Purified Lithium
chemical crane,
lithium albatross.
iodized magnetic zion
in my head.
i'll run for days,
inside a solar haze.
corrosive reduction
under the sun.
the old search for
the purified lithium.
metallic filter to drain
the silt.
empty the heart of all
its guilt.
so salt the cracker and
absolve the sin.
an alkaline base full
of wrinkled skin.
