Purple Air... Poem by DEEP DARK SOUL POET

Purple Air...

The night light fades as days darkness rises
The black clouds of doubt climb above
Static in the air charges the blind idea
Moulding a new dismay to be displayed

Ivy grows around the heart crushing hope
Poisoning the crawling skin of the snake
To new heights not on any scale
As the tide turns and churns to consume

Purple air choking my lungs as people spend
Minutes consumed as they pay for life
One ends as another begins in the circle
Born with hopes to survive only to die

The pen pushes past the pain of the clock
As the Hands pass us all by in haste
Another tick another click the dollar drops
Waiting for the turn of luck that disappoints again

At the end of the day there is no more
The light of night is visible again
Welcome my dark I missed you so
My time to live is nigh just before I have to go...
