Purple Song

At the dawn of a day so long,
I sing for you a purple song;
Wearing purple you come along,
Do understand; don't get me wrong.

At the dawn of a day so long,
I sing for you a purple song;
Wearing purple you come along,
Before this feeling grows more strong.

At the dawn of a day so long,
I sing for you a purple song;
Wearing purple you come along,
‘Cos a purple world is where we belong.

    The world of color, is the world of light.
    I think it is beautiful and conveys senses of inner heaven. In the world you depicted, everything, even your desire is purple, it is when you wear purple to catch the time someone come along.

    It may get meaning in another way, when you want to give your invaluable feelings in color of emotions, you choose purple to give. (Report) Reply

Poem of the Day

poet Sara Teasdale

I thought of you and how you love this beauty,
And walking up the long beach all alone
I heard the waves breaking in measured thunder
As you and I once heard their monotone.
