Pushed Away Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Pushed Away

It is tragic stage
Called orphanage
Can be written so many pages
Yet we find no other ways

Child is left at gate
To suffer bad fate
Only God is their protector
An almighty and creator

Where have we failed?
And chances not availed
The humanity is shamed
Still ignorance is claimed

Women are most sufferers
Still they don’t utter
Word to that effect
The child is made to suffer in fact

The best course is to adopt
If not then action is needed prompt
For their education and safe stay
Let us make clear that they are not pushed away socially

Pushed Away
