Pyramid Poem by Jole Hans

Pyramid

A
Pyramid
So many stones
Laid brick by brick
By so many men, so long ago
Assembled by slaves for the joy of the kings
As time passed by this is no longer true, we all have you
You are here, for all to enjoy, and we marvel at your beauty
Lo and behold! You stay and uphold - despite whipping winds of desert gold
