Q And A Poem by Robert Longley

Q And A

If only we had answers
When questions come to mind
So much time seems wasted
In answers hard to find

We think we need instruction
When challenge comes to call
In truth it’s but direction
That lives within us all

In waiting we have hindsight
And see the truth behold
The path is clear and complex
Though we wish it was foretold

It’s this way for a reason
No growth comes without pain
For us to enjoy sunshine
We must also know the rain
