Quail Poem by Kumarmani Mahakul

Quail

Rating: 5.0

"Sweet children, don't quail
I am with you",
Says our God father,
"Try to have few".

A soldier never quails
Fights with brave,
He ponders do or die
Never fears to grave.

Dear children don't quail
Be always brave,
Follow always truthfulness
Nonviolence should crave.

Lie can't make you brave
Leave it you soon,
Love to all, behave well
You will get boon.

Dear children, read, write
Lead life to high,
Respect the all ladies
As mother, don't shy.

Do always righteous deeds
Have labor hard,
Aim at God always
Never be coward.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Poet's Note about the Poem
It is a poem for young children with a divine massage. God is there and he always says us, " Sweet children don't fear, I am with you. Try to have some good qualities." A soldier doesn't quail and fights with the enemies. He thinks, it will be better to die than fear to the enemy. He never fears to grave means to death. Children should be brave and truthfulness. They should crave nonviolence. Poet thinks that lie can't make a person brave. So it should be left immediately. He says to the children to love all, behave all well and to get boon from them. He further says to the children that children should read and write and lead high life. They should respect to ladies as their mothers, they shouldn't shy. They should always do righteous deeds and should labor heard. They might follow the God always and should not be coward. This is the theme of the poem in thumb's nail. This is written in Deogarh, Odisha, India on the 21st November,2014 and is dedicated to the people of the world.
