Queen Poem by Marites C. Cayetano

Queen

Rating: 5.0

I am the queen
of my own little kingdom
my palace is small
and my crown is not glittering.

I have no knights
or even servants that serve me
but I am the queen
of my own little kingdom.

I only have fishes
and turtles
and flowers to care for
and children too.

You don't have to call me
'your highness'
or even bow your head
in front of me.

But as the queen
of my own little kingdom
you have to respect my authority
over my domain.
