Queen Of Hearts Poem by Tania Montgomery

Queen Of Hearts

You smiled so sweet and gave us love, now we envy the angels above
Who hold you close and keep you safe till we meet in another place
A perfect sunset won't match your shine, the brightest of stars cover your shrine
Even the moon sheds a lonely tear now your're gone, so young in your 36th year!

The sun has whispered 'do not cry' and comforts us as we remember why
God sent you to teach us how to love, but He needed you more above
The world has wept 10 billion tears and left us through these lonely years
If memory can guide us into the light, your peaceful sould will forever burn bright

Looking around at the sound of tears, you left us after wonderful years
Truly the 'Queen of Hearts' without a King, as you carried yourself within
Your beauty, your charm, a nurturing spirit consoled those who needed it
The loss, the shock, the never-ending pain at losing you will always remain
