Questioned Suicide Poem by Kelvin Owusu

Questioned Suicide

Suicide is a suggestion
not an option
Self-reflection of our fears, insecurities
All recollection to depression

It’s a suggestion
As this life of mine
Is put to question
As it passes, this reflection
An image obscured by frost
Tainted by dark thoughts
Drawn to its gates

Suicide is a suggestion
Never the option
Staring at the gates of hell
Losing sight of the right direction
Love ones to rely on?
Just wishful thinking
Fake individuals,
Calls for fake smiles

Depressed mind state
These are the times
I wish I had a shoulder to cry on
I need a blessing, hopefully
Heavens got a room
For a lonely offspring.
