Questions Poem by Ibn Ali

Questions

Rating: 5.0

What if I told you that I loved you
What if you thought my love's a lie
What if I said that I would never leave you
Then one day I just upped and died

Why won't you spill with all the guilt that fills you
Why choose somewhere with no shade to hide
Why tell you truths that I don't need to
Then have to suffer your teary eyes

Where will this path you set upon lead you
Where would you choose if you could decide
Where are all the righteous people
Then if you know, why not reply

When was the last you thread the needle
When at last did you mend divides
When will past joys enjoy a sequel
Then if far gone, I think again it's time
