Quick Pick Poem by Antonio Liao

Quick Pick

a gain
of wasted salutation
perhaps a courageous affirmation
of honesty thou, nothing
left than a humble
acceptance that all is just a vanity
to blink

come dear heart
you'll be the guest that waited
as you dine in my table
that captures the grace
of every blessing, find and
look something that pleases in your
eyes, even the darkness sees no
light to close

my soul keeps
on moving for an easy
pick, yet! I lay down the power
searching the truth is lying in the
dunes of wish a denial that
ooze me to settle down in the most
convenient seat that
hold me in your wonderful arm,
leading my soul to come
closer in your sight,
as I say thank you my quick redemption

I repose forever my dear.
