A real bold treatment of the subject. The poem brings into focus the conflict between the young and the old generaion. Is it what we call a generation gap or a total lack of concern for our parents and grand parents- a travesty of blood relations.

Thinking about own merit is definitely beautiful in this poem. Reading quick sand gives more happiness. Although conflict persists in between old and new generations still this poem is nice for awareness. Nicely penned poem shared really.

A grave warning! Yes, what one sows, he will reap! If one takes good care of his ailing parents, he too will be taken care of by his children in his infirmities.
