R.I.P Chippy Poem by ERNEST CLARY

R.I.P Chippy

Rating: 5.0

Resting in my burrow
down deep as a rut
Im just a squirrel
chewing on a nut
I work all the time with little rest
I save every dime
doing my best
chippy my friend wasnt so wise
he met his end
lazy his demise
all he did was sleep and play
till the snow fell deep
on a winters day
he had guts
that couldnt be beat
when the snow fell
he had no nuts
he could eat
