R.I.P Dear Daddy Poem by Dr John Celes

R.I.P Dear Daddy

Today, he passed off in wee hours of morn;
He suffered ‘double pneumonia' severe;
The antibiotics didn't work this morn;
He breathed his last with family members near.

Our dear dad's death had left a void in life;
He was quite aged and ailed for many years;
But love and tender care saw him through strife;
His loving loss to family brings just tears!

A virtuous person, daddy lived on earth;
He was a Christian true and example;
He suffered more in life than tasting mirth;
His heart dwelled in the living God's temple!

We miss you daddy, very much indeed;
We'll meet you in heaven and speak surely;
Good mammoth trees are growing from your seed;
You showed us how to live, die righteously!

Lovingly dedicated to
(Late) Shri. A.T.Antoniswami Pillai M.A.L.T., CBE
Date of Demise: 5-06-1989
‘May your soul R.I.P in Christ Lord.
We children live as per God's Word.'
