R.I.P. (Rest In Pieces) Poem by Timothy Lee Hollandsworth Jr.

R.I.P. (Rest In Pieces)

Rating: 4.5

I had to kill a man
Caught him in bed with my lady
Dig him in the land
Under the tree is lookin pretty shady
Took him limb from limb
And gave the pieces to her
The put the limbs in the earth
Together they will rest in pieces

Ride on, Ride on
Run away
Carry on, Carry on
There's a price to pay

Fall to a veil of shadow
In a land of remorse and sorrow
She's runnin from me
I'm gonna find her
Follow her to the end of the earth
I'll have her rest in pieces

Ride on, Ride on
Run away
Carry on, Carry on
There's a price to pay
