Rabbits on the roundabout

Rabbits on the roundabout
Content in their circle of grass
Idly waiting, watching, listening
as cars and motorbikes pass.

Rabbits on the roundabout
Never will be free -
Cause there's a chance of being run over
If they leave their sanctuary.
