Race - Poem by John McAdam

What world have I
been born into?
where thing are about race
and not merit

though people say
it is for merit
it is only half
the time

when you buy a pet
you care not of its color
it's all the same
so why does a humans skin
make a difference?
its just another breed of human
like a schitzu or chiwawa dog

are we not
just another pet?
the owner being government

so live not by
but cruise life with
