Rachel’s Promise

From east to west from north to south
Twixt Heaven and gates of hell
One day The Lord will smite by mouth
The foes of Israel

Is God like man that He should lie?
When raising high His hand
Millions will fail stumble and die
When Jacob takes his stand

God’s promises will never fail
His guarantees remain
In the midst of Megiddo Vale
The devils fight in vain

Thinking to sing their victory song
Great spoils of war to find
The devil’s led so many wrong
Deceit has made them blind

Though for a while shadows may drift
May roam throughout the night
Israel’s clouds will finally lift
When Truth reveals The Light

When eyes behold Salvation’s real
When heads shake side to side
The dogs who would swallow Jezreel
Will find no place to hide

From head unto each hateful tail
The Truth will rip apart
Till peace eluding Israel
Revives each precious heart

Great joy will flow through every street
No face will wear a frown
When Rachel at her Saviour’s feet
Puts on her promised crown

Very fine writing - metre and form. Morally I cannot agree with the message but thanks
