Rain

It’s been a long since we met
I have you here
You have me there
I have you everywhere

And when the time cam for you to visit me
Oh, you had hesitated to come
Didn’t you know I missed you so
I’ll be lonely if you’ll go.

Rain, oh rain, please do come
Take me where your place may be
Touch me and caress my hair
Hold me tight and hide my tears.

Rain, oh rain, look at me
I’m begging you with hands spread wide
Race this life of misery
And never let me far from thee.
