Rain Poem by Richard Merrell

Rain

Rain is falling gently
Thank God for it I must,
He causes it to rain upon
The wicked and the just.
Now, blessings pour from heaven
Each day at every hour,
The unjust don't acknowledge God
But I praise Him for each shower.
For God is never partial
As he blesses the earth;
Rain, it falls on all mankind
And I know rain's true worth.
For my Father up in heaven
Gives me my daily bread
I've read the 37th Psalm;
And I believe what God hath said.

Psalm 37
