Rain Poem by Rosa des Fleurs

Rain

Rating: 5.0

Locked out
Drops of heavy rain pour down on me
Wet, warm hard bullets of water cover my naked body
My heart sweats from the pain of racing
Tears drown me
The hurt returns
Water should cleanse and purify me
I try to sleep
I dream I am walking a plank into a murky shadowy pool
with my arms, legs and mouth bound
I was never heard, nor seen, nor felt
I disappear quickly into the depths
I awake trying to breathe
Alone I cry myself to sleep
