Rain Poem by ANTHONY ANIGBATA

Rain

Rating: 5.0

dark clouds cover the blue sky
angry wind wangle so wild
men and women dart here and there
like running from a wild beast

playful kids jump out to shout
buckets brought out from homes
thunder roar like hungry lions
lightening showcase their rare displays

we heard drumming on the roof
like the matching of parading soldiers
and came out just to behold
the sky shedding, its silvery tears
