Rain Falls Sun Shines In Memories Poem by Terence George Craddock

Rain Falls Sun Shines In Memories

Rating: 5.0

awoken memories stir
''leading to turn hidden
lost Karamea valleys
fast leaps downpour life
love in rapid runoff
streams rivers creeks
running in silver summer
sunshine to my homeland seas''

''transforms enchanted scenic glades bluff roads'';

it is a beautiful mystic place prestine
tourists finishing famous Heaphy Track
near Karamea do not even pause stop,
just wisked away back to city Nelson
to cellphones to internet connections,
beautiful large arch limestone caves
awe inspiring near Karamea are never visited,
poor tourists see nothing no limestone arches;

sad but as for me I walked the Heaphy both ways,
while still a student at Buller High School some of us,
got to see rainforest wildnerness paradise on our doorstep;
behold bold tour rush about booked out tourists,
tourists bucket list finishing famous Heaphy Track,
near Karamea for arch limestone caves do not even stop;
