Rain's Love Poem by Ruma Chaudhuri

Rain's Love

Rating: 4.9

At the end of the summer
Rain came as a girl
In the lap of mother Earth
As drops of pearls.

The leaves and the branches
Became so green
The world again became happy
And saw the life's dream.

Autumn came with the white clouds
And spread its fragrance
And Rain fall in love
At a glance.

They played hide and sick
In the dark and white clouds
Now she is going with him
Without any doubts.

Now she is singing the
Song of love
Where life is free to live
Like a free Dove.

A wonderful personification of rain as a maiden girl and the Autumn cloud as her lover. Their unification sets in songs of love, and life moves on freely. Very poetic indeed!
