you embrace me
with your hot body
touching my being in your special ways
soothing away the pain of long days

I hear your code tapping on skylight above
as you repeatedly beckon through melody
without thought - as though in trance
I step outside to join your rain dance

I see tomorrow ever so clearly
as you kiss my skin in ways so lovely
with drops that travel the universe
and find their way into this verse

you will enter through my pores
and leave your essence upon skin and hair
drying into invisible substance rare
so eyes that see me now – sense you are here
