Rain Stories Poem by Birgit Bunzel Linder

Rain Stories

Rain falls into rivulets
Each drop filled with a story
Pushing down the wind
The swifts secure their homes
The wall leans on the ladder
Far away horses stand
Crossed by fences
Shadows shrink into your skin
And darken your eyes
I lean over to you
The rain lights up your hair
I fall into your gaze and
Lie down next to you
Run out of words
