Here lies a land
Birthplace of the grand

Where rapists take the throne
and the victim walks home alone
where your home is not your fort
and the suply of peace and love has run short
we strut our stuff in brand new malls
as all around us democracy falls
we scream and cheer for victory abroad
to hide at home our rapant fraud
watch now the walk of fate
while in minorites is born hate
watch freedoms defences fall down
while all we care of is the rand vs the pound

slowly falls a land
abandoned by the grand
