Rainbow Shades!

Rainbow shades
O rainbow shades!

Tell me are you wet or dry?
Did you paint the butterfly?
Did you add the green to grass?
Did you make the azure sky?

Rainbow shades
My rainbow shades!

Who tied you up in colored band?
What kind of art was in that Hand?
Did it keep the magic brush?
Did it hold the Deity's wand?

Rainbow shades
You rainbow shades!

Let’s stop the spur of riding time
Let’s sing the song of bells that chime
Let’s make this world so heavenly
Let’s play the tune of happy rime

Come hold the pulse of waning day
And let me see your twilight gray
Your sight gives joy to every heart
By coloring dreams you play your part

Let’s whisper love to candle flame
And share the secrets with the moon
Let’s shade the sketch of vales and dales
Let’s weave the fabric of our dreams
Let’s dream to see those dreams come true
Come, celebrate the falling tears

Leaving all deceiving guile
Let’s rejoice the hearty smile!

    Good wishes aapi.
This poem is so lovely and calm. And i think the moments of those feelings and the space (heart) were special. To feel something of nature in depth and paying thanks to Him. Very nice poem (Report) Reply

Beauty still resounds in mind's eternal walls, it seems, owing the music and beauty of your verses that permeates all over, while engaging, even with casual eyes and ears. Wonderful it is, enticing word pictures that demands special attention, so, drives still deeper into certain virgin wilderness of endless interpretations. Verses like these are not the results of deliberate beauty making, its rather impulsive emotional occurrence. God Bless, we the fellow bards delight in the sheen of your 'rainbow shades'. There is no pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
The reward is the beauty we see and feel every time we catch, or I should say,
every time a rainbow catches us. (Report) Reply

    O' Rainbow!
color the smiles of my sister with your effulgence to make her life with a cascading flow to irrigate the dry and dormant soul.
    O' Rainbow!
    bring the cloud of happiness
to drizzle all pleasures in her life. (Report) Reply

    You missed this didi-
    Rainbow shades 'our' rainbow shades.........
Though, I have seen a rainbow, quite a few times, I am too awestruck at its sight, to appreciate it through a poetry.......
But I am glad that you recorded that wonderful scene in your write.............kudos! (Report) Reply

I AM not One who much or oft delight
To season my fireside with personal talk.--
Of friends, who live within an easy walk,
Or neighbours, daily, weekly, in my sight:
