Raindrops Poem by David Harris

Raindrops

Rating: 4.8

Raindrops running down my windows,
like the tears of God.
They speak of many things to me.
The sadness and sorrow,
of another passing year.

They speak of tragedies,
which have befallen,
our brothers and sisters
in all the far distant lands,
by the sweep of the Grim Reaper’s hands.

A very sad, profound poem David, I like it very much, I too think of raindrops depicting the tears of God. (Powerful) --Melvina--

I guess I see rain differently. I love to hear the rain fall and feel that everything is being refreshed by it. A sort of cleansing. I too have written rain poems. Marilyn
