Raining Love Poem by Sandra Feldman

Raining Love

Rating: 5.0

Yesterday, I think I dreamt,
That it started raining Love,
Then Gene Kelly quickly came,
Began, 'Singing in the Love.'

Love thy neighbor,
Love thy self,
Love the One you chose to love,
No umbrellas for this rain,
Only pray it doesn't stop,
For there's Never enough Love.

I love it! The poem. The concept. The Theme. Gene Kelly singing a brand new song...your song. Now every time it rains, I'll be thinking about this poem. And the rain will be a whole new adventure!

It's a great song with that refrain I'm ready for love - Popular love songs often omit our need to prepare ourselves for the love experience and pretend it just happens with no input from the parties involved, a gift outright rather than a grace earned and shared. Your poem is much wiser than that and gives us a holistic view of love. LOVE THE ONE YOU CHOOSE TO LOVE - fulfilling that direction will demand the highest commitment! You are right in summoning us to pray the rain of love - and reign of love - does not stop.

When it is not there, Are we hiding from it or Is it hiding from us?
