Raining Moonlight Poem by Soren Valentine

Raining Moonlight

You're always so somber,
complaining about life and bringing me down.
I'm sick of the blame you put on Him when all He has down is fix It.

But that was two years ago...

Now I find you still stumbling around in Unlight, but guess what?

It's raining moonlight where I am, and it's tickling my eyes.
It's a shame you missed out, but hey, that was your choice.
The Stars smile where I am and you wonder why they are dead where you are.
The answer is so simple, just keep on searching.
Who knows, maybe you'll find it.

I love this poem. My favourite lines are 'it's raining moonlight where I am and it's tickling my eyes' (which is one of your best lines ever I think) and 'The Stars smile where I am you wonder why they are dead where you are'. A difference in perspective can change someone's entire universe. I love how this poem reflects that.

This poem seems to be about the rewarding ability to forgive and move on. Still packed with emotion though. I like the contrast between stumbling around in unlight and raining moonlight. Better yet it was tickling your eyes! Wonderful and stunning comparison! Also, nice ending- the writer doesnt seem to be left frustated.
