Rap And Poetry Poem by Moth Harris

Rap And Poetry

The difference between rap and poetry is the street.
A new beat, but the rhymes are all the same,
Truly it's the same game, new name, more fame
more dames, that know how to treat you right,
Lovin' every day and night, just in a different way.
Romeo had Juliet but she didn't stay,
enough with this poetry, and these games we play.
Rap and Poetry is all the same, that's my claim
So I may be poet but I know the game,
Reciting verses, curses this is my beat, I'm spittin' it.
Hell, I'm hittin' it, you quittin' it, because you don't understand,
times change, supply and demand, this is a new brand.
Brand new, baby me and you, Rappers and poets, get a clue.
This is how we do.
